Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain Veneers are custom made porcelain that are used to cover the front surface of the tooth. They are extremely versatile and can be used to close gaps, align crowding or protruding teeth, or lighten tooth colour.

The strength and appearance of our dental porcelain veneers rivals that of natural teeth and they’re used to make long lasting changes to the smile. They should last between 10 and 15 years with proper care.

Porcelain Veneers is a relatively painless procedure and is usually accomplished in just two appointments. During your first appointment, the dentist will prepare the tooth/teeth and take an impression of them. This is followed by a second appointment to fit the veneers to your tooth/teeth.

Composite Veneers

Direct Composite Veneers are made of acrylic resin which is then bonded on to your tooth. These are made in the surgery directly onto your teeth. It only takes a single appointment to cosmetically enhance your teeth with direct composite veneers

Composite veneers cost less than porcelain veneers making them an affordable option for many. They generally have a shorter lifespan than porcelain veneers. This is because the acrylic resin is less durable than porcelain.
